Mentor Handbook

Mentor Handbook

25 July 2024

We’re excited to share our new Mentor Handbook – a practical guide designed to support every volunteer mentor on their Standing Tall journey. This handbook brings together everything that makes our program strong and safe — our Vision and Purpose, our Statement of Commitment to Child Safety, and the Values that guide the way we work.

It also outlines important information about health and safety obligations, reporting requirements, and our Code of Conduct, ensuring all mentors understand their responsibilities and the standards we uphold. You’ll also find a clear overview of what to expect from our mentoring sessions and relevant staff contact details, so you always know who to reach out to if you need guidance or support.

Together, we’re building a community where every student can thrive.

Standing Tall in Hamilton acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land and in each of the communities in which we live and work, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
