For 21 years, Standing Tall in Hamilton Inc. has been at the heart of our community, empowering young people to reach their full potential.
Our journey began with a single school and an average of seven students per year.
We remain committed to helping students build resilience, support positive mental health, protect their mental health, and reach their full potential academically, professionally, and socially. Through our mentoring programs, we continue to provide a safe and nurturing environment where students can develop essential life skills, gain confidence, and learn to overcome challenges. Our dedicated volunteer mentors work closely with each student, offering personalised guidance and support that fosters emotional well-being and vocational success. By focusing on holistic development, we empower young people to set and achieve ambitious goals, prepare for successful careers, and build meaningful relationships. Together, we are creating a foundation for lasting positive change, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive and become a valuable, contributing member of our community.
Today, we proudly partner with 16 schools, we support over 80 students annually, and engage more than 90 dedicated volunteers.
Our growth is a testament to the incredible impact of our work and the unwavering support of our community.
However, with this growth comes increased costs. To ensure we can continue to serve and uplift our youth for another 21 years, we need the support of our community more than ever.

Our goal is for 200 businesses or individuals to commit to giving $50 per month as an ongoing gift. As a registered charity with deductible gift recipient status, all donations over $2 are tax-deductible, and we can provide a receipt. Meeting this target will cover our core costs and ensure the continuation of our wonderful program into next year and beyond.
