Jaymie has been part of our program as a Volunteer Mentor since the beginning of 2025, and we are delighted to now welcome her to the staff team as a Program Support Officer. Jaymie brings a wealth of experience and a strong passion for supporting people in our community. After completing her nursing degree in 2014, she worked across three different aged care facilities within WDHS, with a particular passion for supporting those living with dementia.
Jaymie is a mum to three beautiful children who are very close in age. When they began their schooling adventure, Jaymie also began hers—moving into disability support work and caring for NDIS participants. Supporting vulnerable people—especially children—through the NDIS and disability services is Jaymie’s passion, both in her professional work and at home, where she cares for her son who has additional needs.
Outside of her role with us, Jaymie continues to work as an NDIS support worker and enjoys taking on casual shifts as a teacher aide at her children’s primary school. Her deep commitment to caring for others reflects her genuine passion for supporting children and families in all aspects of life.
Jaymie lives with her husband James, a farm manager, and their three busy, energetic kids. As a family, they enjoy all kinds of sports and outdoor activities and love spending time together in the garden.
